FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) license is mandatory for all food businesses in India.

Types of FSSAI License:

• Basic Registration: Turnover up to ₹12 lakh
• State License: Turnover ₹12 lakh to ₹20 crore
• Central License: Turnover above ₹20 crore

Who Needs FSSAI License:

• Restaurants and hotels
• Food manufacturers
• Food retailers and distributors
• Food importers and exporters
• Cloud kitchens and caterers

Validity:

• Valid for 1-5 years
• Renewable before expiry
• Display license at business premises
